The area is a dense, urban corridor with shops, budget eateries, small offices, and apartment towers. Landmarks and nearby points of interest include the Terminal Alameda intercity bus terminal, the larger Estación Central rail/bus interchange area, and several public institutions and universities along La Alameda (Red Salud, Teleton, Mutual de Seguridad, ACHS, Hospital del Profesor). The vibe is busy and practical—convenient for transit and working visits; quieter residential pockets lie a few blocks off the avenue.

Entire apartment for your exclusive use. All guests must register at the front desk (24 hours) without exception. The apartment is accessed with a digital lock. Gym: available in the building; keys are requested at the front desk. Laundry: paid washer and dryer in the building (floor -1, right at the elevator exit). Keys are requested at the front desk and the Pronto Matic Chile app is used.

Other Details to Note

The location is unbeatable for concerts and sightseeing: you will be a few minutes from Movistar Arena, Cerrillos, La Moneda Palace, the main museums, hospitals and clinics, banks, Santa Lucía and San Cristóbal hills, Parque O'Higgins, the Fantasilandia amusement park, the main universities and many of Santiago's top attractions. Residential building: quiet hours from 11:00 pm to 7:00 am. Smoking (including on the balcony), parties and events are not allowed.

Getting around Public transport is the easiest option: Metro Line 1 (Red line) runs under or near La Alameda with stations within walking distance depending on the exact block (Estación Central and Universidad de Santiago/Los Héroes area to the east). Numerous Transantiago/Red buses run frequently along La Alameda and cross streets. Long-distance buses use Terminal Alameda for intercity trips. Taxis and ride-hailing apps (e.g., DiDi, Uber, Cabify) are widely available. Walking is feasible for short trips along the avenue but expect heavy traffic; cycling lanes exist in parts of the central corridor.
